Fort Kuala Kedah, also known as Kuala Bahang Fort, is a historical treasure located at the northern facet of Kedah River. Built in 1771 by Sultan Muhammad, it was initially used as a protection shield for the Kedah state and Alor Star. Rich in history, the fort has survived many battles and has been rebuilt after several destructions by Bugis, Acehnese, and Siamese. The prime entrance of the fort, Pintu Gerbang Kadapun is grand and faces towards the north of Alor Melaka on a commanding position and equips some government offices.(8km from Padi Hotel)

Stadium Darul Aman
Stadium Darul Aman was built in 1967. It has a capacity to accommodate some 32,000 spectators. The stadium underwent renovations in 1997 and 2006. During that period, it was managed by the Kedah Football Association. In 2006, management of the stadium came under the Kedah State Stadium Authority. Gunung Keriang
Gunung Keriang, popularly also known as Mount Keriang is an age old mountain range stretched along a paddy field to the northwest of Alor Setar in the Kedah district of Malaysia. At an elevation of 218 meters, the 250 million year old mountain of Gunung Keriang is shaped like an elephant and is majorly composed of limestone. Gunung Keriang has some distinctive features like the presence of ten different rocks renowned for Fung-Shui at a single place like calcite crystals among others. Taman Jubli Emas
Taman Jubli Emas, also called the Golden Jubilee Park, is a public park in Alor Setar, Kedah. It was built to commemorate the golden jubilee, or 50th anniversary, of the reign of the late Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, the 27th Sultan of Kedah. His Royal Highness officiated the opening of the park on 9 September, 2008. The centrepiece of Taman Jubli Emas is a monument comprising a Malay regal headgear, called tengkolok surrounded by five Malay daggers, called keris. It symbolises the 50-year reign of the ruler.
